Tai Chi for Freedom of Movement

Do you wish to feel relaxed and have a calmer mind? Do you feel stiffness in the joints? If you do, try Tai Chi and feel the difference!

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese health and martial art, based on the principles of relaxation, natural movement, meditation and balance. Its approach is holistic. Internally, it promotes natural deep breathing, mental calmness and better circulation. The practice of Tai Chi affects the nervous system, developing a state of tranquillity which allows your body to re-establish balance, leaving you feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. This will naturally improve the functioning of the immune system.

Externally, the practice of Tai Chi benefits the joints, sinews and muscles. By relaxing the muscles, the circular movements strengthen the connective tissues and improve the secretion of synovial fluid which lubricates the joints, keeping them supple.

Many of the Tai Chi Academy students have reported that they feel more relaxed mentally and that they have gained freedom of movement and stronger backs. One lady said that she was so grateful to Tai Chi because, before she began Tai Chi, she could not wash her hair. She suffers from arthritis which prevented her from lifting her arms above her shoulders. Now she can move her arms freely.

Besides being an effective health exercise, the practice of Tai Chi is also highly enjoyable. Try our free introductory Tai Chi online lesson, https://taichiacademy.com.au/. Your body-mind will thank you for it!
